British composer duo Vanbur – Jessica Jones and Tim Morrish – opted for a 20th century classic, ‘Carol of the Bells’, giving it an ethereal feel with a single vocal line rather than massed choral voices. 

Meet the artist

Vanbur

Vanbur is the Bristol-based duo of multi-instrumentalists and composers Jessica Jones and Tim Morrish, with Jones contributing vocals to the project. Their first album “Human” was released in 2020 and mixed elements of dream pop with post-classical music. It led to a release in Deutsche Grammophon’s Project XII series, and a contribution to the Grammy Award-winning charity compilation “For The Birds: The Birdsong Project”. Vanbur created multiple soundtracks for Netflix and the BBC, among others.
