When listening to the recordings, I got the idea that Beethoven’s music was actually very human and accessible but became somewhat unearthly with decades of replaying and overthinking it. I wanted to bring it back to the very basic feels. I was jamming on my synths or on the piano to find melodies and sounds that kept the original idea but took it into my universe. My focus was to find little nostalgic moments that could make a good link to my music.

Christian Löffler

Christian Löffler (1985) is a German electronic musician and producer. Having started his recording career in 2008, he’s built a dedicated fan base with his introspective, melodic take on house and techno music and his immersive audio-visual live performances. In the past 15 years, Löffler has clearly carved out his specific niche between headphone and dancefloor music. A visual artist and nature photographer as well, Löffler works in an atelier on the Baltic seashore in Northeastern Germany,
