Grandbrothers

Grandbrothers is a German-Swiss post-classical duo consisting of Erol Sarp and Lukas Vogel, founded in Düsseldorf in 2011. Their distinct sound stems solely from a prepared grand piano, expanded with a self-built apparatus of software-controlled electro-mechanical hammers. While Sarp is playing the piano, Vogel is live-sampling and manipulating its sounds. They have produced four albums and two film soundtracks and presented their distinct music to audiences around the globe.
