Berlin-based neo-classical artist Lambert marks a decade of music-making with the release of his latest album, Actually Good, under Mercury KX. Originally composed for an abandoned crime series about the notorious ‘Ice Cream Man Murders’ of the 2000s, the project never came to fruition.
Blending piano arpeggios, strings, and synths, Actually Good offers a mix of tension and elegance for a truly cinematic experience. The album features collaborations with artists like Marie-Claire Schlameus on cello and Ralph Heidel on saxophone. To commemorate the release, Lambert will unveil a mini-documentary on September 20th, directed by Tom Oxenham, capturing the creation of the never-seen crime series The Stranger.
