Pianist and composer Stephan Moccio expands his latest album Legends, Myths and Lavender with a Complete edition, out now. This new offering features seven additional tracks, including new arrangements of existing pieces and two brand-new compositions created in collaboration with acclaimed cellist Peter Gregson.
Recorded over three days in Moccio’s Los Angeles home studio amid torrential rainfall, the sessions resulted in a collection of honest improvisations that evolved into a heartfelt triptych. “Peter is a musical beast who I hold tremendous respect for—we surrendered to the process and trusted each other,” says Moccio.
Legends, Myths and Lavender (Complete) is out now on all major streaming platforms.
