Chad Lawson (1975) is an American pianist, composer and podcaster. Classically trained, he started composing songs in high school. Majoring in jazz performance at Berklee College of Music, he started a career as a studio and touring musician. In 1997, he formed the Chad Lawson Trio, which released three albums until 2004. His first solo album, an improvised jazz piano album, arrived in 2009. Many records followed, with “The Chopin Variations” (2014) being among the most successful ones.
