Anoushka Shankar
Anoushka Shankar (1981) is a British-American sitar player, composer and producer. She is the daughter of Ravi Shankar and half-sister of Norah Jones. Starting music training at the age of eight and releasing solo albums since 1998, Shankar produces and composes music that fuses Indian classical music with electronica, folk and art pop. She has toured extensively worldwide, received multiple Grammy nominations and collaborated with legends from Herbie Hancock to Sting and Lenny Kravitz.
