Meredi is a German-Armenian composer, producer and pianist, based in Berlin and Los Angeles. She started playing the piano at age six. After music school, she studied composition in Berlin and film composition in Munich, all the while performing live and writing pieces for theatre, ballet and movies. The success of her first solo albums “Stardust”, “Trance” and “Some Other Place” led to her signing to Deutsche Grammophon, where her EP “Flourish” was released in the summer of 2024.
“Gravity is my enemy”, the German-Armenian composer Meredi says. Her stellar EP Flourish was written on a personal journey – a search for a home between her current places of residence in Germany and the United States, Armenia and a music festival in Mexico.
