Balmorhea

Balmorhea is an instrumental band from Austin, Texas, drawing from musical traditions as diverse as folk, classical, jazz, post-rock, americana, ambient and minimal music. Formed in 2006, the group self-released their first album the next year. They’ve gone on to produce many more records on independent and major labels, with the two founding members Rob Lowe and Michael Muller still at the heart of their six-piece line-up. Their cinematic music has been used in TV series and film soundtracks.
