Roger Eno is a British multi-instrumentalist, singer and composer. He worked with his older brother, the artist and producer Brian Eno, on the successful album “Apollo” (1984). His first solo album, “Voices”, was released the following year. Roger Eno has written and produced for films and advertising, and collaborated with artists like David Gilmour. In 2020, he released an acclaimed album with his brother (“Mixing Colours”), and followed it up with two solo works on Deutsche Grammophon.
On his last solo album “the skies, they shift like chords”, the English pianist and ambient musician explored the landscape of his home in Eastern England. Now Roger Eno releases the bonus mini-album “the skies: rarities” with eight unreleased outtakes from the same sessions.
