Snorri - Longer Shadows, softer stones

Snorri Halgrímsson releases the third pre-release track And I Alone of his debut DG EP Longer shadows, softer stones. Following several collaborations in recent years, the acclaimed Islandic composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist has now produced six original thought-provoking tracks in an EP that aims to transform listeners’ disillusion with the darkness of the world and encourages them to travel with hope instead.

Halgrímsson grew up in a musical family, trained as a classical guitarist and also studied composition at the Iceland Academy of Arts and Berklee College of Music. He then began to write his own pieces creating soundworlds of subtle beauty and hopefulness that are often characterized by an atmospheric vibe.

The EP, which will be released digitally and on vinyl on 4 October 2024, is now available for pre-order.
